HEʻE Planning Meeting, *Monday, May 7, 2018 from 9:00-11:00am at The Learning Coalition (Validated Parking at Harbor Court Parking Garage, 66 Queen Street. See map here.)
One of CRCO’s primary functions is to ensure the safety of DOE students from conduct based on their protected class status (such as gender, race, or disability, among others). Over the summer and fall, the HIDOE will be updating the administrative rules that govern the processes relating to this type of conduct. This will include revisions to Chapter 41 (Civil Rights Policy and Complaint Procedure) and Chapter 19
Having just finalized their proposed changes to the administrative rules, HIDOE thinks it is important to get feedback on them from the community before they submit them to first the HIDOE Board of Education, and then the Hawaii Governor for their consideration. We would like to invite you for a small group discussion regarding this issue.
